Summary
  • New menus from May in Business Class and Economy Class
  • Typical Swiss specialties with St. Gallen Bratwurst and Aarechäs
  • Menus offer variety, quality and seasonal freshness

Starting in May 2025, Business and Economy Class guests can look forward to a new culinary experience on board. Edelweiss brings fresh enjoyment and regional diversity to the skies with carefully selected Swiss specialties – from traditional classics to seasonal reinterpretations.

Business Class: Regional delicacies with refinement
Business Class guests can look forward to an exquisite menu featuring typical Swiss specialties. The highlight is the legendary St. Gallen bratwurst from the Schmid butcher shop in St. Gallen, accompanied by bacon-wrapped beans, hash browns, and onion sauce—a dish with a truly local feel.

Cheese lovers will also find something to their liking: the aromatic Aarechäs from the Chäser from Worb is served as part of a cheese trio or combined with pear bread. Starters such as creamy trout tartare with pumpernickel crumble and apple jelly, as well as vegetarian creations such as dumplings with ricotta and buffalo Parmesan, provide variety. Sweet finishes include classics such as chocolate mousse with whipped cream or a piña colada with coconut cream and pineapple ragù.

Economy Class: Balanced variety with a Swiss touch
Edelweiss also brings new culinary delights to Economy Class. Savory dishes like chicken breast with herbs, risotto Milanese and spinach, or gnocchi with tomato and basil sauce offer tasty variety.

Familiar classics like Bircher muesli with berries or potato salad with cucumber salad are reminiscent of authentic Swiss cuisine. Desserts like mango mousse with strawberry coulis or a tutti-frutti crumble cake round out the menu with a sweet touch.

Variety, quality and Swiss enjoyment
With its new menus, Edelweiss brings even more enjoyment and Swiss identity on board. The menus change seasonally and reflect Switzerland's culinary diversity – for a true taste experience above the clouds.
