Edelweiss, the leading Swiss leisure airline, is expanding its route network and will be flying to Tirana (Albania) and Kalamata (Greece) starting in summer 2019. In addition, the Seychelles and Mauritius will be served year-round.
The Albanian capital, Tirana, is known for its diverse and colorful architecture. In addition to magnificent buildings and a historic old town, Tirana offers various highlights such as the Palace of Culture and the National Museum. Tirana is also the ideal starting point for exploring Albania's diverse natural beauty on a round trip. Edelweiss will fly from Zurich to Tirana every Monday and Friday starting April 1, 2019.
With Kalamata, Edelweiss is already offering its tenth holiday destination in Greece. This region on the Peloponnese peninsula is not only known for its stunning beaches, but is also an ideal destination for sailing, hiking, climbing, or golf. Many ancient sites such as Olympia and Sparta are easily accessible from Kalamata. Starting June 7, 2019, Edelweiss will fly from Zurich to Kalamata every Friday.
