Travel carefree with Edelweiss in times of Corona

Edelweiss is simplifying travel planning with two new services. You can now purchase a travel-approved PCR test for home use via the Edelweiss website. In addition, all Edelweiss guests have access to an expanded range of information for each holiday destination, including the most important COVID-19 regulations and on-site testing options.

A negative PCR test is required for entry into many countries. Edelweiss passengers now have the option of quickly and easily taking a PCR test at home using a self-collection kit.

The process is simple: Order a test kit at flyedelweiss.com, which is delivered to your home by mail. Thanks to the written instructions or video instructions, you can easily take the saliva sample at home. Then, send the sample tube directly to the certified laboratory or leave it at a drop-off point at Zurich Airport. The lab results follow the next day via encrypted email. This email is internationally recognized, multilingual, and contains all the information necessary for your planned trip.

This service is offered in cooperation with Viselio on flyedelweiss.com and costs CHF 165.

All important information for a carefree journey at a glance
In the current global situation, reliable and comprehensive information is key to a carefree and stress-free stay at your holiday destination. Edelweiss now offers the relevant information for every holiday destination on its website.

With just a few clicks, you can see the current travel restrictions, entry requirements, and rules of conduct regarding COVID-19 for each country. You can also book a paid PCR test online at your destination for your return trip to Switzerland. This service is provided in cooperation with the Canadian company Sitata at flyedelweiss.com.
