Summer flight schedule 2025: 7 new holiday destinations and further flight schedule consolidation

Edelweiss has finalized its 2025 summer flight schedule with the seven previously announced new destinations, increasing the number of flights in some cases significantly. The new destinations offer guests a wide selection of attractive destinations.

The new holiday destinations in detail
From June 2nd, Seattle in the USA will be served twice weekly, followed by Halifax (Nova Scotia) in Canada from July 3rd, also twice weekly. The capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, will be served twice weekly from April 12th, followed by Bristol in the UK from June 2nd, also twice weekly. Furthermore, Terceira in the Azores will be served once weekly from June 25th, and Zadar in Croatia will be served twice weekly from June 28th. Finally, Calvi in Corsica will be served once weekly from July 6th.

More flights to southern holiday destinations
In addition to the destinations mentioned above, the flight offering to Sardinia will also be made more attractive, with new daily flights to Olbia and Cagliari. Services to Portugal will also be increased, with up to six weekly flights to Faro and up to eight weekly flights to Madeira. Furthermore, services to the Azores will be expanded, with up to three weekly flights to Ponta Delgada and a new weekly flight to Terceira.

Services to Southeast Europe will also be expanded, with at least two daily flights to Pristina, three weekly flights to Tivat, and two weekly flights to Varna. Services to Croatia will also be expanded, with daily flights to Split and two weekly flights to Pula and Zadar.

Improved offer to Great Britain
Services to the UK will also be enhanced, with up to ten weekly flights to Edinburgh. Bristol will also be added as a new destination. The flight schedule to Iceland, Finland, and Norway will also be made more attractive, with new Friday morning flights to Akureyri, new flights to Kittilä, and more attractive flight days to Tromsø.

Expansion of the offering to the USA and Canada
In summer 2025, long-haul services in the US and Canada will be expanded with additional frequencies. Tampa Bay (Florida) will now be served up to five times a week, and Las Vegas will continue to be served up to three times a week – starting mid-May with the new Airbus A350. Denver will be served up to four times a week, Seattle twice a week, Vancouver daily (also starting July with the new Airbus A350), Calgary up to three times a week, and Halifax twice a week.

In addition, services to Tanzania will be further expanded, with Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar now served three times a week. During the summer holidays, flights will be on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and in the autumn, flights will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays.
