Summer flight schedule 2015: More flights to the sun
Edelweiss, the leading Swiss leisure airline, continues to grow and invest in its core markets. With the 2015 summer schedule, Edelweiss is introducing new destinations in Europe and expanding its offerings in North America and the Caribbean.
More flights to North America and the Caribbean
With the 2015 summer flight schedule, Edelweiss is increasing the number of flights to Las Vegas, Tampa, Florida, and Vancouver. These vacation destinations will now be served three times per week. "Las Vegas, Tampa, Florida, and Vancouver have become popular Edelweiss destinations," says Bernd Bauer, CEO of Edelweiss. "We are very satisfied with the capacity utilization and are happy to be able to offer our guests a third flight per week starting in summer 2015."
In addition to the additional North American flights, Edelweiss is also increasing its offerings to the Caribbean. The vibrant metropolis of Havana will now be served twice weekly.
With this expanded offering, Edelweiss guests can now plan their holidays even more flexibly and individually. With the comfort of the new Economy Max and the new Business Class on the long-haul fleet, the holiday experience begins on the plane.
New destinations and a wider range of existing holiday destinations in Europe
With its 2015 summer flight schedule, Edelweiss is also expanding its connections to the emerging cities of Southeast Europe. New destinations such as Banja Luka and Podgorica will be added to the route network, and connections to Pristina, Skopje, and Split will be increased.
The service in the Greece/Turkey region is also being expanded. Edelweiss is now offering flights to Corfu and more connections to Heraklion and Dalaman. Edelweiss is also strengthening its existing service in Spain and Italy with additional flights to Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, and Catania.
