More holiday flights in winter

Edelweiss, Switzerland's leading leisure airline, is expanding its offerings to various destinations in winter 2018/19, offering more flights to popular holiday destinations in Egypt and the Canary Islands. The winter flight schedule is also being expanded to include several holiday destinations.

With Hurghada and Marsa Alam, Edelweiss offers two attractive holiday destinations in Egypt. More flights are offered to these destinations in winter. Edelweiss flies daily to Hurghada and up to twice a week to Marsa Alam.

Services to the Canary Islands are also being expanded. Edelweiss will now fly daily to Tenerife and Gran Canaria in winter. Frequencies to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote will be increased to three weekly flights.

After a break in recent years, Edelweiss is once again offering non-stop flights to Antalya and Larnaca in winter.

New routes in winter
As previously announced, Edelweiss is adding two new holiday destinations, La Palma and Eilat, to its route network for the 2018/19 winter flight schedule. The two new destinations will be served starting October 28, 2018. In addition, the popular destinations of Edinburgh, Lamezia (Calabria), Cagliari (Sardinia), and Ibiza will also be served during the winter months.
