More flights to popular holiday destinations for winter 2017/18
Edelweiss, the leading Swiss leisure airline, is significantly increasing its frequencies to many popular short- and medium-haul holiday destinations with its 2017/18 winter flight schedule, offering travelers greater flexibility and reliability for their holiday planning.
Starting with the 2017/18 winter schedule, Edelweiss will offer its guests an even more attractive flight schedule to popular holiday destinations in Egypt, the Canary Islands, Spain, and Sicily. The following destinations will be expanded starting in October 2017:
| Hurghada: | 1 additional flight per week (now 4 weekly connections) |
| Tenerife: | 1 additional flight per week (now 6 weekly connections) |
| Gran Canaria: | 2 additional flights per week (now 6 weekly connections) |
| Fuerteventura: | 1 additional flight per week (now 3 weekly connections) |
| Seville: | 1 additional flight per week (now 3 weekly connections) |
| Catania: | 2 additional flights per week (now 4 weekly connections) |
This complements Edelweiss' existing flight program, which offers attractive new features: In addition to increasing the frequency to three weekly flights on the popular route to Cape Town, the new holiday destinations of San José (Costa Rica) and Cancún (Mexico) will also be served for the first time in winter. In addition, more seasonal connections to Funchal and Marrakech will be offered.
