Summary
  • Flights from Zurich to Bogotá and Cartagena from November 2023
  • Two weekly flights, each on Wednesday and Sunday
  • Number of long-haul destinations increases to 23

The Swiss leisure airline Edelweiss is expanding its long-haul network and will be flying to two new destinations in Colombia starting in November 2023. The two new destinations, Bogotá and Cartagena, are ideal for exploring this country of contrasts on an impressive tour. In addition to an incredible number of cultural highlights, you'll experience sandy Caribbean beaches, lush jungle landscapes, high mountain peaks, and vibrant metropolises.

Bogotá: Capital and starting point for most tours
From Bogotá, you can plan not only a round trip but also numerous day trips into the nearby mountains. It's highly recommended to spend a few days of your Colombia vacation in Bogotá itself and immerse yourself in the vibrant hustle and bustle of the city. It has a lot to offer – from a wide range of cultural activities to picturesque parks and lively markets.

Cartagena: Breathtaking natural beauty and relaxing dream beaches
The north of the country also boasts treasures such as high coastal mountains, dreamy Caribbean beaches, and beautiful national parks. At the end of a Colombia tour, it's worth relaxing for a few days in Cartagena before heading home.

Starting November 22, 2023, Edelweiss will fly nonstop from Zurich to Bogotá, then on to Cartagena, and then back to Zurich every Wednesday and Sunday. The flights are now available for booking at flyedelweiss.com and through all usual sales channels. The first piece of normal-sized sports equipment will be transported free of charge.
