Edelweiss will fly to the Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Vietnam from 2018
Edelweiss, the leading Swiss leisure airline, is expanding its long-haul network eastward and will fly to the Seychelles, Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, starting in 2018. At the same time, frequencies to various long-haul destinations will be increased.
With the Seychelles, Edelweiss offers another holiday destination in the Indian Ocean. With miles of white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, the archipelago offers the perfect conditions for a dream vacation. Edelweiss will fly non-stop to the Seychelles once a week starting September 22, 2018.
Starting mid-November, Edelweiss will fly to Ho Chi Minh City, offering Vietnam, one of Asia's most diverse countries. Those seeking breathtaking tours through beautiful landscapes and fascinating cities will find what they're looking for in Vietnam. Edelweiss will fly non-stop to Ho Chi Minh City twice a week starting November 15, 2018.
Just a few weeks ago, Edelweiss announced that it would be flying nonstop to Buenos Aires, Argentina, starting in winter 2018. With this further expansion of its destinations, Edelweiss now offers 66 dream destinations in 32 countries.
Edelweiss is also adding Sri Lanka to its flight schedule, flying non-stop to Colombo twice a week. The country is a very popular travel destination and offers almost limitless opportunities for active holidays, beach vacations, or exploring the exciting culture.

All classes feature modern onboard entertainment with a large HD touchscreen and a selection of over 180 film and TV programs, numerous music channels, and games.
The offer is only valid on flights operated by Edelweiss or SWISS, but not on codeshare or combination flights with other airlines.
The new holiday destinations will be served by a newly refurbished Airbus A340, comfortably seating 314 passengers. Business Class features 27 seats that can be instantly converted into a 2-meter-long bed. Economy Max offers 76 seats with 15 cm more pitch and a wider seatback recline. Economy Class is equipped with 211 comfortable, state-of-the-art seats, guaranteeing a carefree travel experience.
Frequency increases on long-haul routes in 2018
Edelweiss will also fly to popular holiday destinations more frequently in winter 2018/2019, thus offering more flexibility for personal travel planning.

Sports equipment travels free of charge to all Edelweiss holiday destinations
From now on, sports equipment weighing up to 23 kg travels free on all Edelweiss flights. Those who want to relax and also get active on vacation no longer have to go without their favorite equipment: surfboards, diving equipment, golf bags, or bicycles weighing up to 23 kg can be taken free of charge on all Edelweiss flights starting December 1, 2017.
