Edelweiss, the leading Swiss leisure airline, is expanding its long-haul network to South America and will fly twice a week from Zurich to the Argentinian metropolis of Buenos Aires starting in November 2018.

Buenos Aires is not only the world capital of tango, but also captivates with its cultural diversity, fascinating architecture, first-class football, and arguably the best meat in the world. Due to its diversity, Argentina's capital is also called the Paris of South America. In addition to its many attractions, Buenos Aires is also the ideal starting point for day trips or onward journeys to explore the beauty of Argentina.

Bernd Bauer, CEO of Edelweiss: "Argentina has been on our wish list for a long time. I am convinced that we will delight our guests with the new holiday destination Buenos Aires and that the direct flight will be very popular."

Starting November 7, 2018, Edelweiss will fly nonstop from Zurich to Buenos Aires every Wednesday and Sunday with an Airbus A340. The flights can be booked from the beginning of December at flyedelweiss.com and through all usual sales channels.
