Edelweiss will discontinue flights between Zurich and Havana from March 2025

After careful consideration, Edelweiss has decided to discontinue flights to Havana, Cuba, starting in March 2025. The last flight from Zurich to Havana and back to Zurich will operate on Thursday, February 27, 2025 (WK32/WK33).
The decision is based on declining demand and current conditions at Havana's José Martí International Airport. An on-site review by Edelweiss has shown that long-term, stable, and reliable long-haul operations are difficult to ensure.
Affected guests will be contacted by Edelweiss or their travel agency and will either be rebooked onto alternative connections or, upon request, receive a full refund of the ticket price.
Until the flights are suspended, Edelweiss will continue to fly regularly every Thursday nonstop from Zurich to Havana and back to Zurich. Edelweiss regrets the inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding.
