Edelweiss resumes holiday flight operations

Edelweiss will resume leisure flight operations tomorrow, Thursday, after a nearly two-month hiatus. The first flight after the shutdown due to the coronavirus crisis will depart at 6:00 a.m. from Zurich to Faro, Portugal.

In accordance with the entry regulations of the respective countries, the flight offering will be continuously expanded in the coming weeks. By the end of June, 171 flights to 36 holiday destinations are currently planned. The first destinations to be served again are Portugal, Southern Italy, Kosovo, Croatia, and North Macedonia. Depending on the development of the global situation, destinations in Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt, and Spain will follow later in June. Furthermore, the first long-haul flights are planned to resume regular operations.
