Edelweiss lifts COVID-19 vaccination requirement for flight personnel

Last year, Edelweiss was confronted with constantly changing entry regulations worldwide due to the COVID situation. The situation has since changed significantly. Since the end of November 2022, there have been no entry restrictions for crews at destinations with on-site stays. Furthermore, there have been no further tightening of restrictions during the winter months. The situation has stabilized overall, and flight operations are no longer at risk.

For this reason, Edelweiss has decided to lift the COVID-19 vaccination requirement for flight personnel as of April 20, 2023. Should the situation change unexpectedly, Edelweiss will consider reintroducing mandatory vaccination.
