Edelweiss is flying to Pisa and Ponta Delgada in the Azores this summer

Edelweiss is expanding its offerings in summer 2022 with two new holiday destinations. The leading Swiss leisure airline will now fly to Pisa, Italy. With the Leaning Tower, Pisa is not only home to the world's most famous Italian monument, but the city also offers an outstanding selection of museums and cultural attractions. The nearby coast boasts beautiful beaches and charming towns such as Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta, and Viareggio, as well as the famous "Cinque Terre" on the Ligurian coast.

Starting June 3, 2022, Edelweiss will fly directly from Zurich to Pisa every Tuesday and Friday.

With Ponta Delgada in the Azores, Edelweiss offers a new holiday destination for all outdoor enthusiasts. The archipelago, with its nine islands, rises in the middle of the Atlantic and boasts impressive natural scenery. Volcanoes, hot springs, verdant landscapes, and steep coastlines. Beautiful hiking trails and fascinating flora and fauna can be found on all of the Azores islands, as well as golden and black sand beaches and ideal conditions for divers, sailors, and surfers. The year-round pleasant climate of the Azores makes this a perfect destination in any season.

Starting July 11, 2022, Edelweiss will fly directly from Zurich to Ponta Delgada in the Azores every Monday.

With the new holiday destinations, Edelweiss offers 59 destinations in 19 countries on short- and medium-haul flights this summer, and 19 destinations in 13 countries on long-haul flights.

The flights can be booked at flyedelweiss.com and through all usual sales channels. The first piece of normal-category sports equipment is transported free of charge, and of course, onboard catering is included in the Edelweiss offer.
