Edelweiss is flying to Glasgow for the first time

- Two flights per week from Zurich until mid-September

Edelweiss celebrated its inaugural flight to Glasgow today, Friday, with a festive ceremony at Zurich Airport. During the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, David Nufer, Manager Network Planning & Development, and Rolf Hancock, Vice President Aviation Development Flughafen Zürich AG, together with the crew, cut the ribbon, thus inaugurating the new direct connection to northern Great Britain.
With Glasgow, Edelweiss expands its offerings in Scotland to include a second destination alongside Edinburgh. Scotland's largest city captivates visitors with its exciting blend of culture, music, and architecture. Along the River Clyde, magnificent Victorian buildings stand alongside the city's industrial history, while numerous parks provide verdant contrasts within the urban landscape.
Glasgow is considered an ideal starting point for tours through the Scottish Highlands and can be perfectly combined with a side trip to Edinburgh. The city boasts a vibrant music and pub scene, famous sights such as the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Celtic Park football stadium, and is suitable for both varied city breaks and longer holidays in Scotland.
Edelweiss flies from Zurich to Glasgow every Monday and Friday until mid-September.
