- Use of the Airbus A340 for increased capacity on selected routes
Edelweiss is expanding its flight offerings in spring 2025 with additional non-stop connections to popular short-haul destinations and an extended winter season to Lapland. By using the Airbus A340 on selected short-haul routes, passengers will also benefit from even greater flexibility and increased capacity.
Extended winter season to Lapland
In the far north, Edelweiss is extending the winter season with additional flights in March and April. Winter sports and adventure enthusiasts can enjoy the fascinating landscape of Lapland until just before Easter. Edelweiss will also fly to Rovaniemi on March 31 and April 3 and 7. Kittilä will also be served on March 31 and April 7, and Edelweiss will offer additional flights to Ivalo on March 28 and April 4 and 11.
New non-stop flights to popular holiday destinations in Italy, Morocco and Greece
Sun worshippers will also get their money's worth: Starting in April, existing triangular connections will be replaced by direct flights to shorten travel times and increase comfort. Catania (Sicily) and Lamezia (Calabria) will be served nonstop on Mondays and Thursdays. Marrakech and Agadir in Morocco will also be served nonstop on Wednesdays starting in April. There will be additional nonstop connections to Kos and Rhodes in Greece on Thursdays starting in April.
Increased capacities on selected routes
To meet increasing demand, Edelweiss will be using the Airbus A340 on selected short-haul routes in March and April. Gran Canaria will be served with the Airbus A340 every Thursday from April 3 to May 1. There will also be additional flights to Faro with the Airbus A340 on March 20 and 27. Edelweiss will offer additional flights to Hurghada on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. In addition, Edelweiss will be supplementing its service to Larnaca, Cyprus, with additional night flights every Thursday in April and May. Edelweiss will also fly to Sal (Cape Verde) on April 1, 2, and 8.
