Edelweiss flies to Terceira in the Azores for the first time

Edelweiss celebrated its maiden flight to Terceira in the Azores with a celebratory ceremony today, Wednesday. The traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at Zurich Airport, where Céline Vautravers, Manager Network Planning & Development at Edelweiss, and Rolf Hancock, Vice President Aviation Development at Zurich Airport, cut the ribbon together with the crew.
With the addition of Terceira, Edelweiss expands its offerings in the Azores, offering holidaymakers a new, fascinating destination in the Atlantic. The island captivates with its volcanic landscape, verdant hills, historic towns, and impressive coastline. Flights to Terceira will operate non-stop from Zurich every Wednesday until September 10.
