Edelweiss flies to Las Vegas again
- After a 2.5-year break, Edelweiss will fly back to Las Vegas on March 28
- Las Vegas will be served up to 3 times a week from Zurich this summer
- Summer flight schedule offers 78 holiday destinations in 32 countries, including 6 new destinations
After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, Edelweiss is flying to Las Vegas again. This is Edelweiss' second North American vacation destination, after Tampa Bay, Florida, to be resumed. On Monday morning, March 28, the plane took off from Zurich, bound for the Mojave Desert in the US state of Nevada. An occasion that demanded celebration.
Patrick Heymann (Chief Commercial Officer, Edelweiss) and Florian Raff (Head of Aviation Development & Statistics, Zurich Airport) cut the ribbon at the gate in the presence of the Edelweiss crew, as is tradition. "I'm delighted that, after Tampa Bay, we're now flying to our second US destination, Las Vegas. We've had to wait long enough for this moment. I'm convinced our guests can hardly wait to fly to this vibrant city again," said Patrick Heymann.
With Vancouver starting May 15, Calgary starting June 12, and Denver starting June 13, Edelweiss will be flying to three more holiday destinations in North America again in the coming months.
Summer flight schedule 2022 launched
This summer, Edelweiss offers 59 short- and medium-haul destinations in 19 countries and 19 long-haul destinations in 13 countries. These include six new short- and medium-haul holiday destinations that Edelweiss is flying to this summer: Bilbao since March 27, Cork from April 15, Pisa from June 3, Bergen from June 4, Newquay (Cornwall) from July 3, and Ponta Delgada (Azores) from July 11.
