Edelweiss expands its winter offering to Finland and Norway

Summary
  • Extended season to Ivalo and Kuusamo
  • New scheduled flights to Kittilä and Rovaniemi
  • Evenes/Lofoten now also in winter

Following its successful launch last winter, Edelweiss is significantly extending its season to Finnish Lapland in the 2024/2025 winter flight schedule. The destinations Kuusamo and Ivalo will now be served from mid-December until the beginning and end of March, respectively. Kuusamo will be served every Friday, and Ivalo will now be served twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

For the first time, Edelweiss is also offering scheduled flights to Kittilä and Rovaniemi, serving both destinations twice a week from mid-December to the end of March. Flights to Kittilä are available on Mondays and Wednesdays, and to Rovaniemi on Mondays and Thursdays. In addition, Edelweiss will continue to operate charter flights to Kittilä and Rovaniemi every Saturday on behalf of Kontiki Reisen.

Norway fans can also rejoice: New flights to Evenes are also available in the winter schedule. Flights operate every Saturday from mid-December to the end of March. Evenes is the ideal starting point for exploring the breathtaking island paradise of Lofoten – an archipelago with more than 80 islands. In addition to the Lofoten Islands, the Evenes region has much more to offer: The city of Narvik is an ideal starting point for unforgettable experiences in the north, and the Vesterålen Islands – although somewhat less well-known than the Lofoten Islands – are just as impressive.

With the six destinations Evenes/Lofoten, Tromsø, Kittilä, Rovaniemi, Ivalo, and Kuusamo, Edelweiss offers a comprehensive and attractive portfolio in northern Scandinavia in the 2024/25 winter flight schedule. The individual destinations can be freely combined as part of a round trip. The additional flights can be booked via all channels starting Thursday, May 9, 2024.
