“Edelweiss Café” opens at Zurich Airport
Edelweiss, Switzerland's leading leisure airline, is not only a host above the clouds, but now also on domestic soil. In collaboration with Autogrill Switzerland, it has opened the "Edelweiss Café" at Zurich Airport. A unique concept has created an oasis of encounter and inspiration.
The bright and modern "Edelweiss Café" is located directly in front of the boarding pass check at Check-in 1. It's the ideal place to refuel before your flight or to say goodbye to loved ones. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of food and drinks inspired by Edelweiss' holiday destinations. The "Mykonos Salad," the "Edinburgh Quiche," or the "Ciabatta Rio," for example, create that holiday feeling even before departure. The "Edelweiss Café" offers up to 100 comfortable seats and a modern bar. Dozens of built-in power outlets ensure that passengers never have to leave their flight with empty batteries.
The "Edelweiss Café" is operated in close cooperation with Autogrill Switzerland. Maximilian Schiedt, Chief Operating Officer of Autogrill Switzerland, said: "We look forward to working with Edelweiss and promise that the "Edelweiss Café" will serve the best Italian coffee at Zurich Airport."

And in various display cases, guests can discover and admire many original holiday souvenirs. Here, they can escape from everyday life and experience the holiday spirit."
The "Edelweiss Café" is now open to all visitors of Zurich Airport 365 days a year from 4:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Guests with a boarding pass for an Edelweiss flight receive a 10% discount on their food and beverages on the day of their flight until the end of March 2020.
