Edelweiss brings aircraft back from Dübendorf

Today, Tuesday, June 9, Edelweiss is flying the first two Airbus A320s from Dübendorf Airport back to Zurich Airport. The remaining three aircraft will follow a week later.

After Edelweiss parked five of its Airbus A320s at Dübendorf Airport for almost three months, they will be flown back to Zurich Airport in phases starting today, Tuesday. The first A320 (HB-IJW) took off from Dübendorf today, Tuesday, June 9, at 10:45 a.m. The second overflight (HB-IJU) will take place this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The remaining three A320s will be transferred next week, on June 15 and 17. Due to the parking order, these three aircraft cannot all be transferred on the same day.

With the transfer to Zurich Airport, Edelweiss is preparing for its summer flight schedule, which will resume flights to an estimated 60 short- and long-haul holiday destinations starting in July.
