Adjustments to Edelweiss' long-haul program
- Denver and Seattle in the USA will no longer be served, and frequencies to Las Vegas will be reduced
- Muscat and Salalah in Oman will not be served in the winter flight schedule 2026/27
- The background to this is declining demand, geopolitical developments and the impact on fuel prices
Edelweiss is making adjustments to its North American routes in the summer flight schedule. Flights to Denver and Seattle are being discontinued with immediate effect. Frequencies on the Las Vegas route will be reduced during the early summer and autumn.
In addition, Edelweiss is adjusting its services in the upcoming winter flight schedule 2026/27: Flights to Muscat and Salalah in Oman will not be operated.
The adjustments are primarily due to the ongoing effects of the geopolitical situation, particularly in connection with the Middle East conflict, the development of fuel prices, and declining demand for certain destinations in the USA.
Affected passengers will be contacted by Edelweiss or their booking agent. They will be rebooked on alternative flights, primarily via other Lufthansa Group hubs, or will receive a full refund of the ticket price upon request.
Edelweiss regrets the inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding.
